PROLOGUE

In this prologue it is hinted the outcome of the story.

ACT 1

SCENE 1

There’s a fight that breaks out between the Capulets and the Montagues, the Prince stops and intervenes.

SCENE 2

The Capulets throw a ball in honor of introducing Paris to Juliet, Romeo and Benvolio read the invites which gives them an idea.

SCENE 3

Lady Capulet tells Juliet and her Nurse about Paris and the proposal of marriage,

SCENE 4

Mecutio and Benvolio convince Romeo to come with them to the ball.

SCENE 5

Romeo and Juliet meet and kiss, Tybalt wants to start a fight between Romeo and him but Capulet stops him.

ACT 2

SCENE 1

Romeo’s friends joke about his love for Rosaline.

SCENE 2

Juliet is protesting her love for Romeo, unaware that he is listening, he eventually reveals himself and they decide for Juliet’s Nurse to be the messenger.

SCENE 3

Romeo persuaded Friar Lawrence to marry them.

SCENE 4

Mercutio and Benvolio talk about Tybalts challange, Romeo joins in and Juliet’s Nurse comes to fund him.

SCENE 5

The Nurse shared with Juliet Romeo’s arrangements for marriage.

SCENE 6

Romeo and Juliet are married.

ACT 3

SCENE 1

Mercutio is discraced when Romeo chooses not to fight Tybalt, Mercutio decides to step in but is killed by Tybalt, Romeo in anger decided to get revenge on Tybalt by killing him too.

ACT 3

Juliet is told the news by Nurse.

ACT 3 SCENE 3

Friar Lawrence is trying to talk to Romeo and find a solution to the events and problems that have arisen.

SCENE 4

Capulet, makes arrangements for Juliet to marry Paris.

SCENE 5

It is the morning and Romeo must leave Juliet, this is interrupted by Nurse coming in warning them that Lady Capulet is coming.

ACT 4

SCENE 1

Friar Lawrence shares a plan with Juliet to save the situation about the arranged marriage.

SCENE 2

The Capulet’s are getting ready for the wedding, Juliet tells her father that she will get married and the wedding day is moved.

SCENE 3

Juliet is frightened about drinking Friar’s vial, she drinks the drug.

SCENE 4

The whole family gets ready for the day events and Nurse goes to wake up Juliet.

SCENE 5

The family believes her death and everyone mourns.

ACT 5

SCENE 1

Romeo is told about Juliet’s death.

ACT 2

Friar Lawrence is notified that the letter that was meant for Romeo was not sent, He then sends another letter.

ACT 3

Romeo murders Paris in the Capulet cell, kisses Juliet, drinks the poison, then kissed her again, Juliet wakes and sees Romeo dead, then takes his dagger and kills herself.
